💡 Inside Track & Deep Insight
Elon Musk recently pointed out that India’s birth rate has fallen below the replacement level, emphasizing that among the most educated segments, this decline began years earlier. The observation aligns with broader global trends where higher education and economic development correlate with lower fertility rates.
This shift has significant implications for India’s future workforce and economic growth, as a declining population could strain social security systems and reduce the labor pool. Musk’s comment adds to ongoing discussions about global demographic changes and their potential impact on innovation and productivity.
