Elon Musk Affirms Support for Alice Smith and DeafNeanderthal Accounts

Elon Musk’s terse reply ‘Yes’ to a query from @TheAliceSmith regarding @deafneanderthal represents a rare direct confirmation from the billionaire. While the context remains ambiguous — potentially touching on account verification, content policies, or personal endorsements — the brevity and lack of elaboration suggest Musk is selectively amplifying specific voices rather than issuing broad policy statements.

The exchange comes as X (formerly Twitter) continues to reshape its user engagement under Musk’s ownership, with increased emphasis on direct interactions with high-profile users and influencers. The acknowledgment of @deafneanderthal, an account known for commentary on technology and disability, may indicate Musk’s interest in fostering diverse perspectives on the platform. However, given the lack of specificity, market watchers are not expecting any material impact on X’s valuation or user growth metrics from this interaction alone.
