Elon Musk Slams Critics: ‘They Always Use Defensible Excuses for the Indefensible’

Elon Musk took to social media to condemn his critics with a cryptic post: ‘They always use defensible excuses for the indefensible.’ The comment, posted without further context, appears to target those who have opposed his recent business moves, including the overhaul of Twitter’s verification system and layoffs at Tesla. Musk’s rhetoric has sharpened as he faces mounting regulatory scrutiny and shareholder pressure.

The statement reflects Musk’s characteristic combative style, often framing criticism as a double standard. While the specific ‘indefensible’ actions remain unnamed, the post likely alludes to ongoing debates over Twitter’s content moderation policies or Tesla’s Autopilot safety record. Markets have responded with mild volatility, as Musk’s unpredictable online presence continues to influence investor sentiment.
